Spend the night in Canada's parks

Camping can be fun, but packing a tent is a hassle. Fortunately, Parks Canada offers travelers a number of sleeping arrangements right in the park. Not only are these lodgings a great way to see the parks at night, they're also a good way to save money.
For example, many of the parks are home to yurts. These round buildings provide protection from the elements and come outfitted with beds and a small amount of furniture. Yurts are available in Quebec's Forillon Park, Manitoba's Riding Mountain and New Brunswick's Fundy.
Similar to a yurt are cottage tents. This is essentially a large and think piece of canvas tied tightly over a wooden platform, with plenty of room for sleeping arrangements inside. The tents at Jasper come with a number of perks - electric lights, stove, heaters, cooking gear and even a coffee maker.
Travelers should get in contact with Parks Canada before they set off on their Canada vacation, as many of these have to be booked in advance.
